We, at Access Arts, stand in solidarity with our transgender students, staff, volunteers, donors, and community members. The legislation that curtails the rights of transgender people is discriminatory, and we are devastated by the Attorney General’s announcement concerning restrictions to gender-affirming medical care that affects many in this family.
At the heart of Access Arts is the dedication to inclusion. Our values of mutual respect and learning are based on the inclusion of people of diverse identities and backgrounds. Our mission is to provide creative learning experiences for everyone. Amidst this time of uncertainty, we pledge to uphold our mission of inclusion. We will continue to support anyone who walks through our doors and will continue to be a safe space.
Art is the universal language that has the power to unite, heal, and transform.
