"I have been involved in music all of my life," she says. "Starting from when my grandmother gave me piano lessons as a little girl to the present day. The arts have been a passion for me and especially access to the arts for all persons no matter their situation."

Bridgett taught instrumental music for 18 years in public schools and during that time she never turned any student away that wanted to play an instrument. "I believe that Access Arts is an incredible asset to Columbia and I hope to help spread the word about the programs offered and the people that get to experience art through them," she says.
