School’s Out is a day camp program for children in elementary school (kindergarten - 5th grade). It is offered on selected days that Columbia Public Schools and surrounding school districts are closed for Teacher Work Days. During the day, participating students complete different art projects in various media. Between the media blocks, they have time to play both indoor and outdoor games and enjoy snacks.

Our Spring Break Camp runs very similarly to our School's Out program and Summer Camp offerings. The Elementary Camp meets from 8 am - 5 pm, and throughout each day, children learn about various art media and complete a multitude of projects. Between the media blocks, they have time to play both indoor and outdoor games and enjoy snacks. This program is for students currently in kindergarten through 5th grade.

These media-specific classes meet for approximately 2 hours each week for 4 to 6 weeks. We typically offer programs in clay or fibers, and the class fee includes all materials and instruction. Students complete a series of projects that get them acquainted with the specific medium, and at the end of the class get to bring lots of their fun, completed projects home! Find specifics at the link below to see if these classes are right for you.

We strive to offer a large number and a wide range of workshops throughout the year. We regularly have both youth and adult workshops in ceramics and fibers. Occasionally, we offer "family-style" workshops intended for both parents and children to participate in together.
