Adult Programs

All of our adult programs serve ages 17 and up. Each of the below programs are completely inclusive, if you would like to learn more about how we make our programs accessible, please visit the link below.

Classes meet for 2.5 hours each week for 6 weeks. Additional open studio time is available to all students enrolled in a 6-week class. The class fee includes 25 lbs of clay, glaze, and two firings. Additional clay may be purchased separately. Each session we offer plenty of beginning wheel-throwing classes but also offer a few more advanced topical classes on a regular basis. Classes meet for 2 hours each week for up to 6 weeks. We are currently offering both beginning and advanced weaving classes, in addition to our regular spinning class! We provide all of the materials, and for all of these processes, students learn the entire process starting from the beginning, such as warping a loom all the way to multiple weaving structures. Adult Weekly Fibers Classes

Each class meets for 2 hours each week for 6 weeks. Currently, our 2D classes are focused on the area of printmaking. These classes are usually $150 for the full 6 weeks, but prices may vary depending on the class. Find specifics here to see if these classes are right for you!

Our Date Nights programming is great for those looking to get creative and learn a new skill, but who don't want the time commitment of the full 6-week class structure. For one evening only, we will provide an educational and creative space for you and a plus one to learn a new skill using clay! No prior experience is needed, just a smile and willingness to get a little messy! BYOB & snacks if desired!

We strive to offer a large number and a wide range of workshops throughout the year. We have both youth and adult workshops in ceramics and fibers, and regularly offer "family-style" workshops intended for both parents and children to participate in together. Occasionally, we collaborate with Vidwest Studios to provide a number of Digital Media workshops.

2024 Class Schedule

New to our 6-week classes? Here's what you need to know!

Our 6-week classes are a series of 6 classes that happen over the course of 6 weeks. For example, if you sign-up for a Monday Wheel-Throwing class, you will have classes every Monday for 6 consecutive weeks, assuming there are no holidays or breaks (they would be listed). We offer 6 class sessions each year, and you can find them highlighted in the image here or listed below. At our 800 Moss St. location, the weaving classes are on the upper level, with the clay classes in the bottom. At the 2109 Cottle Dr. location, we are the unit closest to Stadium, and the door to the clay studio is at the back left when you first walk in. Please take note that the start date of the class session is not always the start date of your specific class.

For our 6-week adult classes, we offer open studio times where students can work independently but there will be no instructors present. To retrieve your finished work, you will need to come back to our open studio hours in the following session, but please mind the breaks in which our studio is not open (listed below).
