Adult Weekly Ceramics Classes

Classes meet for 2.5 hours each week for 6 weeks. Additional open studio time is available to all students enrolled in a 6-week class. The class fee includes 25 lbs of clay, glaze, and two firings. Additional clay may be purchased separately. Each session we offer plenty of beginning wheel-throwing classes but also offer a few more advanced topical classes on a regular basis. Find specifics at the link below to see if these classes are right for you!

Adult Weekly Fibers Classes

Classes meet for 2 hours each week for up to 6 weeks. Additional open studio time is available to all students enrolled in a weekly class. Every session we offer adult weaving classes which are all filled with beginner to intermediate students. Students in these weaving classes have first dibs on registration for the following session, if they want to continue to work on their current piece on the loom. This is why available spots can be sparse, as looms are limited. Due to this, we also like to offer a few topics classes throughout the year! Adult Weekly 2D Classes

Each class meets for 2 hours each week for 6 weeks. Additional open studio time is available to all students enrolled in a 6-week class. Currently, our 2D classes are focused on the area of printmaking. These classes are usually $150 for the full 6 weeks, but prices may vary depending on the class. Workshops

We strive to offer a large number and a wide range of workshops throughout the year. We have both youth and adult workshops in ceramics and fibers, and regularly offer "family-style" workshops intended for both parents and children to participate in together. Occasionally, we collaborate with Vidwest Studios to provide a number of Digital Media workshops.

Date Nights

Our Date Nights programming is great for those looking to get creative and learn a new skill, but who don't want the time commitment of the full 6-week class structure. For one evening only, we will provide an educational and creative space for you and a plus one to learn a new skill on the ceramics wheel! No prior experience is needed, just a smile and willingness to get a little messy! BYOB & snacks if desired!

2023 Class Schedule

New to our 6-week classes? Here's what you need to know!

Our 6-week classes are a series of 6 classes that happen over the course of 6 weeks. For example, if you sign-up for a Monday Wheel-Throwing class, you will have classes every Monday for 6 consecutive weeks, assuming there are no holidays or breaks (they would be listed). We offer 6 class sessions each year, and you can find them highlighted in the image here. At our 800 Moss St. location, the weaving classes are on the upper level, with the clay classes in the bottom. At the 2109 Cottle Dr. location, we are the unit closest to Stadium, and the door to the clay studio is at the back left when you first walk in. Please take note that the start date of the class session is not always the start date of your specific class.

For our clay classes, we offer open studio times listed above, where students can work independently but there will be no instructors present. To retrieve your finished work, you will need to come back to our open studio hours in the following session, listed here (but please mind the breaks in which our studio is not open - listed below).
